Serendipity

Hi! That girl in the picture? That's me, Carolyn. For as long as I can remember, I've loved to write. That, of course, isn't the only thing I've ever loved. However, writing and the art form that it can be has been one of the two consistent hobbies throughout my life---that and theatre. As I got older, the idea of starting a blog became a more intriguing yet terrifying thought. That being said, I feel that in my current situation and arch of life transitions, now is a better time to do it than ever. I'm about to be a freshman in college, which means that I finally get to really start on this path we call life. Serendipity is defined as, "finding something good without looking for it." In the 18 years I've lived on this Earth, I can say that I've had more than my fair share of joyful moments that I never thought I'd come across. Hence, the name---serendipity. There's truly something special about a serendipitous moment. One can't describe it as a thought or a word, but rather a feeling. God meticulously orchestrates our lives---every hair on our head, in order for us to feel those serendiptous moments. I'm so unbelievably blessed with the moments I've had, the people I've met and the experiences I had through those unforgettable moments, whether I had been searching for them or not. Because I've had those moments, I want others to feel them too, which is why I choose to share my favorite and most special moments here with you.
