Happy autumn! I know I know---I sound like every basic, white girl to ever exist, but I can't help it! Autumn is my favorite season! According to Starbucks, fall started on August 28th with the release of the pumpkin spice. I'm already getting into sweater weather, soI felt like it was only right for the next serendipity post to be autumn themed. With that being said, let's get into my official ranking of every autumn drink!
5. Pumpkin Spice Latte
Trust me, I know. Placing the iconic and beloved Pumpkin Spice last is asking to be bullied. Hear me out---pumpkin spice is delicious, the lattes are not. Every time I've gotten a PSL from Starbucks, they've put way too much syrup, thus making my PSL Halloween orange. Talk about unappetizing. I love pumpkin spice coffee, though. I'm all for a normal, old

pumpkin cup o' Joe. When the 'latte' gets involved, it only goes downhill from there.
4. Chai Latte
Drinking anything that's chai is essentially like drinking a Yankee Candle---you cannot convince me otherwise. Chai has always been one of those things that I wish I enjoyed. From the bottom of my heart, I tell you that I want to like chai. However, everytime I drink it, I want to throw up. The mix of cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, black tea and milk disgusts me. Most of my friends enjoy it, and I can't seem to grasp why it makes me nauseous. For many people, it'd be higher on this list, but for me, no way.

3. Hot Chocolate
You can't go wrong with hot chocolate. It's a crowd favorite for a reason! There's nothing like the creamy, chocolatey goodness that comes when you order it. It fully deserves whatever spot it takes on the list. No matter the season, you can drink hot chocolate. While I will admit

that it could be argued that it's more of a winter drink than autumn, I don't think it matters. Not to mention that it's great for kids or for those who don't like caffeine!
2. Apple Cider
You don't get more 'autumn' than apple cider. Hot or iced, it's a classic. It's a perfect balance of cinnamon, apple, nutmeg and deliciousness. Cider is much lighter than coffee, which is why I find it more refreshing. Iced, it makes for a refreshing sip of fall. Hot cider feels like a warm hug from your mom. There's a reason why there are apple cider donuts and not chai donuts, people.

1. Caramel Macchiato
Yes---this technically isn't a seasonal drink. It's year round. It's just that good. I've always associated caramel with autumn, I just think they work well together. I'm a coffee lover, so of course, this is my #1 drink. It's sweet, yet still tastes like coffee, and ultimately looks beautiful

for pictures! Caramel macchiatos are delicious both hot and iced, so it's extremely versatile.
Happy autumn, y'all. Enjoy the warm drinks, sweaters, pumpkins, apples, and Halloween!
much love,
cal
